Choirs
I’ve been singing in the a capella folk choir Tubthumpers Chorus for 5 years, and have filmed all of their performances. It’s led by Gitika Partington - arranger, conductor, composer extraordinaire, plus she’s a member of the alt-folk duo 3 Bucket Jones. Her site is at: www.gitikapartington.com.
Bolder Voices is a choir of elders 65+ and I’ve been resident songwriter on several of their projects. They are an inspiring bunch of singers who are up for any challenge, led by the indefatigable Claire Chapwell. They’ve played the Hackney Empire, protested at City Hall and broadcast live on BBC radio a 90th birthday song for the Queen. http://boldervoices.org/
