Art/Experimental/Theatre/Short
I first started making films for my own solo performances on stage – short videos projected onto screens, pianos, objects, mapped over the entire set. Films created in the years since include narrative, art, virtual, theatrical, abstract, commercial, participatory - for schools, galleries, care homes, forests, studios, streets, charities, more. Editing is about clarity (stories, ideas), aesthetics (colors, light, frame), flow (speed, immersion) and surprises (surprises!).
Boobs, Bananas & Guns
Commissioned by The National Justice Museum, Boobs, Bananas & Guns is a collaboration with artist whatsthebigmistry and musician Keir Cooper. You can find it online as part of the museum’s Power: Freedom to Create exhibition here. (Navigate to the two screens on the wall directly behind the orange pillar.)
Cosy Cocoon
Made for Moving Memory’s workshop group Moving More, for people with hidden disabilities. I asked them to talk about the places and objects that helped them through the pandemic, and they sent me films of themselves dancing about their cosy cocoons with both individual and unison choreography

New Adventures in Zoomland
Artist Tess Leak ran six weeks of online puppetry workshops with a group of learning disabled adults, bringing to life the magical realm of Zoomland. I put it all together with this film - the flora & fauna, shared mansions, citizen interviews on Zoomtime TV, the poetry, music and amazing hats they created… With Tess, Eoin Lynch, Justin Grounds and participants from West Cork & Tipperary, Ireland
Commercial Clients
I work regularly filming and editing for a variety of clients: charities (Lambeth LEAP, Atlantic Pacific), Universities (Kent, UCL) ethnographic research companies capturing unprompted events, behaviours and conversations relevant to their briefs (Satchi & Satchi, Doc Martins, LG, Unilever), event trailers, weddings, etc, etc…
