Sound Design is often an underappreciated aspect of any performance - getting the balance between staying out of the way of the action and adding enough to enhance the experience; too much and the sounds just distract, get it right and it almost feels imperceptible. I’ve been lucky to work on sound projects with some wonderful artists: Guy Dartnell, Foster & Dechery, Lone Twin and more. I like to use a range of instruments and sample the sounds of objects used in a show, and usually create using Logic Pro.
